📖 How to use the app (Step-by-step)

The app is designed to be the fastest tool you have ever used at the poker tables. Here is your new workflow:

1. Create a player mid-hand (The Ninja Method)

When an opponent does something noteworthy and you need to act fast:

1. Use your operating system's screenshot shortcut (On Windows: Win + Shift + S / On Mac: Cmd + Shift + 4).
2. Drag a box over the player's avatar and name in your poker client.
3. Click over to the Poker Note Manager and press Ctrl + V (Paste) anywhere on the page.
4. BAM! The app instantly creates a new card with your screenshot. Click a color tag, finish playing your hand, and write a note when you have the time. Everything is auto-saved.

2. Loading existing players (Browse DB)

When sitting down at a new table with players you already have notes on:

1. Click the "📇 Browse DB" button at the top.
2. Use the search bar in the pop-up to quickly find the players at your table.
3. Click "Add to Board" next to their name. You can add multiple players without closing the window.

3. Personalize your setup (Manage Tags)

1. Click the blue "⚙️ Manage Tags" button at the top of the screen.
2. Type a name for your new tag, select a color from the color picker, and hit Add.
3. You can also delete default tags you don't use by clicking the trash can icon.

4. Keep track of your tables

• Search the board: Playing 8 tables and have 40 cards open? Use the "Search active cards..." bar in the middle of the screen. Type two letters of the player's name, and all other cards are instantly hidden so you can focus.
• Clear Board: When your session is done, simply press "Clear Board". It removes all cards from your screen so you are ready for your next grind.

5. IMPORTANT: Remember to take Backups! 💾

The app saves everything locally in your browser's memory (LocalStorage). If you clear your browsing history or cookies, your data will disappear!

• Click "💾 Export Backup" at least once a week. This downloads a small, secure file to your computer containing all your players and custom tags.
• If disaster strikes, simply click "📂 Import Backup", select your latest file, and your entire database is restored in a split second.
